2016 will always be remembered as everyone was crazy for Pokemon GO. That was the time when every third news on the Internet was about Pokemon Go. Now, it looks like 2017 will also be the same but this time it’s going to be Super Mario Run year.
As we have seen Super Mario Run has brought the storm on Apple App store as one of the most popular apps. It was exclusively launched for iPhone devices last month. It is the first mobile game released by Nintendo to feature its most popular character ‘Mario’. Now it’s coming to Android.
Android users are now able to pre-register their interest in the game before it’s release. This is expected to be launched around 15 January, a month after the iOS release. Super Mario Run was downloaded more than 40 million times in its first four days of release on iOS. Now you can you can simply imagine it’s huge popularity.
This is also a fact that it requires a constant internet connection to run – for security apparently and to avoid cheats. The game is free to download and play until first three levels but after that, it requires an in-app purchase of £7.99 to unlock more levels.
The full game features three modes:
- World Tour for a six world side-scrolling Mario classic style game to save Princess Peach.
- Toad Rally for a multiplayer mode to get a coin collecting high score.
- Kingdom Builder to make your own worlds and unlock bonus characters.
Gather coins and Toads to build your very own kingdom. You can Create your unique kingdom with buildings and decorations that you acquire with the help of Toads gathered in Toad Rally.
The game should work across Android devices but it’s still not clear for tablet specific gaming. Nintendo has not mentioned in detail at this stage.
